Tasting Notes: The nose is sticky and sweet, fragrant and fruity but more honey, caramel, red apple skin, soft leather, and cocoa powder.
The palate is syrupy and round, being more of an easy drinker than the proof may suggest. Fruit continues to grow more in the glass as it opens, teasing out notes of tobacco, leather, and oak, but not as much as notes of cherry, dried apple, caramel, and spiced toffee.
The finish is damp and clinging, soaking into the tongue and long lasting with lingering baking spices, tobacco, honey, red fruits and gentle nuttiness.
