Tasting Notes:Â The nose is deep and inviting, lots of dark brown sugar, tootsie-roll chocolate, and toffee notes, underlying with softer citrus, leather, and cooked apples.
The palate is an explosion of brown sugar, honey and leather, underlying with dark cherry, licorice, and well aged oak. Woodsy and peppery.
The finish continues to bring waves of leather and oak, with a nip of ginger and balanced baking spices to the mix before that deep cherry note continues long past it all.
